John Ikechukwu Okafor Biography.
John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, is a Nigerian movie producer, actor and comedian. He was born on 17 October 1961. He hails from Nkanu West L.G.A, Enugu state. After primary school, in 1974, Mr Ibu moved to Sapele to stay with his brother, after his father’s demise.
He took to doing menial jobs so he could sponsor himself to school and support his family in Sapele. He worked as a photographer and a hairstylist. He also worked in a company that produces crates.
After completing his secondary school education he was admitted into the College of Education Yola but he later dropped out due to financial difficulties.He later enrolled in the institute of Management and Technology, Enugu.
He started his acting career on the 3rd of december 1978. He is married to Stella Maris Okafor and they were blessed with three lovely children. He is 61 years old as of August 2023.
