Tiwa Savage ‘The Queen Of Afrobeat’
Tiwatope Omolara Savage popularly known by her stage name ‘Tiwa Savage’, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. Tiwa Savage sings in both English and Yoruba language and her music is a blend of Afrobeats, R&B, Afropop, Pop and Hip-hop.
She was born on the 5th of February 1980 and She has a Business administration degree from the University of Kent. She also attended the Berklee College of Music.
Started her music career in 2009. She was brought to the limelight by her first self released single ‘kele kele’ which was produced by Harmony Samuels.
Tiwa Savage has been featured in a lot of awards and nominations some of which are ‘MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act and World Music Award for World’s Best Song’. She collaborates with a lot of other singers and with her consistency and hard work she earned herself the title of ‘Queen Of Afrobeat’.
