65 Reggae Albums enlisted for consideration at the 66th Grammy Awards.
There are currently 65 reggae albums being considered for potential nomination in the Best Reggae Album category at the 66th Grammy Awards, which will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
The 66th Annual Grammy Awards is a music awards ceremony that acknowledges and awards the best artists, recordings and compositions of the year as decided by the members of the National Academy of Recording Arts and sciences.
Some of the Best Global Album category is Stephen Marley’s “Old Soul,” Morgan Heritage’s “The Homeland” and Shaggy’s “In the Mood”
Artists like Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid Baaba Maal and Stonebwoy are also in consideration.
ou entertainments also noted that the eligible cover recordings for the 2024 Grammys are only those commercially released in the United States and the ones released from October 1, 2022, to September 15, 2023.
The first round of voting for nominations commenced on the 11th of October and the Recording Academy has released the dates and deadlines for the upcoming 66th Annual Grammy Awards. The official nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards will be revealed on the 10th of November 2023.
