Flexy W made headlines at P London’s ‘Meet and greet’ in Ebute Metta. The Afrobeat, Afro Live singer who likes to call his style ‘Afro Asylum’ ‘My sound is Afro-Asylum because it is enchanting and highly contagious.’ he said.
FLEXY W is one of the best male vocalists in almost all the fast raising artistes we know in Nigeria. He has conquered the Nigerian streets and is still breaking new grounds.
His performance at the event was more freestyle and the crowd was wowed by his natural voice.
Flexy W started his singing career in 2008 as a beginner in the church like most musicians in Nigeria. He started singing as a backup singer to prominent singers and officially started recording his songs in 2010, and started getting attention in the music industry from 2016 after he performed at the Enyimba stadium Aba, and stole the show as well.
Wisdom Onu Kanu narrated in an interview with OU Entertainments how he came up with his name. He said, ‘The name Flexy W was given to me by my dance crew mates in the year 2008. Flexy Wizzy as they all called me was because I was the most flexible amongst them and my name being Wisdom, they called me the stylish name wizzy. But I shortened it to Flexy W in the year 2010 when I started music officially.’

Flexy W who has a close relationship with Fireboy dml after their sensational performance at the Enyimba carnival still keep fans on their toes as to if the singer will drop a song with Fireboy dml anytime soon.
When asked about his relationship with Fireboy dml and if we should expect a collaboration soon. He laughed it off and said we should keep our fingers crossed. In his exact words ‘Chill, just keep your fingers crossed anything can happen, but fire is so busy now, I will let you know when Gbedu sets.’ he said in an Interview with OU Entertainments.
