Davido’s Biography
Davido Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as ‘Davido’ is a American born Nigerian singer songwriter and record producer.He was born in Atlanta,Georgia,United states on November 21 1992 and raised in Lagos Nigeria.
He is the youngest of four siblings and the second born son of his parents. He schooled in British International school, Oakwood university and Babcock university.
His songs blend elements of Afrobeats, Afropop, Pop, R&B, Hiphop, Reggae and Amapiano. He has collaborated with a lot ot singers both in Nigeria and internationally. Some international artists he collaborated with are Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, and Da Baby.
Davido is currently the father of four children and is currently married to Chioma Avril Roland.
Over the years Davido has won a lot of awards both in Nigeria and internationally.
Some of his awards are: MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act- 2017, The Headies Award for Artiste of the Year- 2018, BET Award for Best International Act- 2018, South African Music Award for Rest of Africa Artist- 2020, The Headies award for Digital Artiste of the Year- 2022, The Headies Humanitarian Award- 2022, Trace Awards for Best Male and Best Collaboration- 2023.
