1. Power On
Your camera not coming on is one of the common errors that can occur in digital cameras. The most external factor that is likely to cause the camera not coming on is usually the battery.

Quick Fix
In this case all you need to do is check the battery is swollen, as a battery being swallen is a sign of being bad, then clean the battery terminal (metal surface of the battery) to ensure direct and proper contact with the terminal on the camera. If broken, then you must replace totally with a new battery.

2. Poor Photo Quality
Poor quality photos are one pressing issues photography beginners face. This concern comes as a result of not setting the camera functions properly.

Quick Fix
To fix this challenge, It is possible that the camera is on manual mode, so, adjust the built-in settings on your camera, but first, adjust the focus of your lens left top right or right to left until you have a sharp view, then if it doesn’t get clear enough you can check your camera manual on how to adjust the camera settings for a good image. If resetting the manual setting is too complex then you can remove it from manual mode to auto mode and try.

3. Dots on photos
If as a beginner you experience dots on the image when you take a photo, this could be that there are pericles of dust on your camera sensor which is being reprinted on your images.

Quick Fix
Take the lens out gently, and be careful so it doesn’t fall off from your hand, then apply a lens cleaning fluid on a dry wipes or cotton-wool then clean gently clean the surface of your lens and the camera sensor area. You can also use a camera soft brush to dust the area or use an air blower to blow the dust off of your lens and sensor, however, make sure the lens is faced down during opening so other particles won’t fall on in and if possible it shouldn’t face up through out the whole cleaning time.

4. Camera Not Focusing Properly
This is a common complain for fresh DSLR users. This is because your camera is on optical viewfinder and you turn the focus on the lens too fast.

Quick fix
To fix this, always use the display at the rear for your framing and try to manually focus slowly.

5. Too Bright/Dark Photos
When a photo comes out to be too bright or dark which is otherwise known in photography as being over exposed or under exposed respectively, it only means that the brightness was not properly set from the camera.

Quick Fix
Adjust the brightness setting from the camera settings. To do that, go to menu> settings> brightness then reduce if too bright or increase if too dark. If the overall image if dark, then contrast is the best tool to fix it.
